Social Events
The Club offers a variety of social activities for members who enjoy hitting the open road in their Alfas - or simply enjoy the company of other Alfisti.
Activities range from restaurant evenings to extended week-ends away in the country. Occassionally, a social outing will coincide with the opportunity fo members to display their pride and joy at a classic car show or other display.

| Sat - May 1 - 2010 Toowoomba | | Darling Downs Weekend (Day 1) - This is a very popular annual event on the Club social calendar. Early on Saturday we will rendezvous at Goodna MacDonalds, then set off for a leisurely drive through the beautiful Darling Downs. There will be pleasant breaks for morning tea and lunch along the way. Overnight accommodation will be in Toowoomba, with dinner at a venue within walking distance of our hotel. | Sun - May 2 - 2010 Toowoomba | | Darling Downs Weekend (Day 2) - Sunday will see us up bright and early to display our Alfas at the David Hack Car and Plane Show at Toowoomba Airport. This charity display combines a large display of vintage and classic vehicles (including military vehicles) along with vintage and military aircraft. Even if you haven't been with us on Day 1, why not take a Sunday drive and meet us there? Exhibitors are requested to arrive between 8:00am and 9:00am. Presentation of Trophies occurs at 1:00pm and exhibitors are requested to stay until the event close at 3:00pm as many of the spectators don't arrive until the early afternoon. David Hack Website |
| Sun - May 9 - 2010 Beaudesert | | McLeans Bridge Car Display - Yes, it's on Mother's Day! It always has been - we will leave it up to you to negotiate the politics. Drive outward bound on the Beaudesert Hwy past Browns Plains and beyond Park Ridge. Approximately 8km's or so past Browns Plains look for the McLeans Bridge car show signs. The turn off is a right hand turn just before a nursery as the main public entrance is in the back of the show ground. If you've driven over McLeans Bridge then you've gone too far. If you wish to display your vehicle it's best to get there before 9am as the queue of incoming vehicles can be quite long, otherwise as a pedestrian anytime is ok as parking is before the show ground itself. |

| Thu - Oct 7 - 2010 Bocce Courts, Newmarket | | Annual Bocce Challenge - It is time once again for the Annual Bocce Challenge between AROCA-Qld and the Fiat Car Club of Queensland. The exciting night of fun and competition is held at the Bocce Courts, immediately behind the Italo-Australian Centre, 23 Foster Street, Newmarket. |
